YouthBuild Evansville begain their journey on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 6o’clock in the morning. It was a gloomy, rainy day in Evansville that morning, but that was the last thing on the minds of the 11 YouthBuild participants who were headed to St. Louis. The crew was pumped and ecstatic to be heading out of town for the next couple of days. Vision 1505 Housing Project
New Housing Project
Vision 1505 is a new housing project being undertaken by a partnership between the Evansville Housing Authority and Aurora, Inc. to provide permanent supportive housing for homeless families. The project involves the renovation and rehabilitation of former Vanderburgh County Corrections Safe House at 1505 N.W. Third Ave into new energy efficient one, two and three bedroom apartments.
